Karnataka CET 2022 Physics Exam Analysis: Students divided, questions less important from chapters

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 started on June 16 and will end on June 18. Some students found the Physics paper tougher than last year, while others found it easier. Experts claim that an average student will easily be able to score 30 out of 60 marks in this section. Students said that the questions from important subjects were less in number and only 20 questions were easy.

“The exam went well. However, there were very few questions from some very important topics, which were unpredictable. Modern Physics was given a good weightage. Around 20 questions were easy and rest were generally difficult. Compared to last year The paper was a bit tough,” said Shashwath R Kedilaya, student, Diksha, Indiranagar, Bengaluru.

“Overall the Physics paper was easy. An average student can get 25 to 30 marks out of 60. While 43 questions were easy to answer, 13 were moderate and 4 were difficult. There was no change in the pattern and it was within the framework of NCERT. The paper was easy as compared to last year but some questions were difficult. DIKSHA’s National Head-Knowledge Management Dr Milind Chippalkatti said that there was no error in the paper.

This exam is conducted every year for admission to engineering, agriculture, veterinary and pharmacy courses in colleges of Karnataka. A total of 2,16,525 candidates had registered for Karnataka CET 2022. The papers for Biology and Mathematics were held on June 16, while Physics and Chemistry on June 17. The Kannada language test will be conducted in a selective test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. Center tomorrow.
