Reacting to any talks on the VBA, which had recently allied with the Shiv Sena (UBT), joining the MVA, Pawar retorted by saying “there is no proposal, no question of discussion”. Where is it”, and reiterated that the MVA would fight the upcoming elections unitedly.

Pawar said that with the Parliament session beginning in New Delhi next week, efforts would resume to forge a national united opposition front with all leaders.

“I am personally in touch with many opposition leaders, there are some tricky aspect issues as different parties are on opposition side in some states because of their local or regional issues. We have to sort them out first.”

He clarified that the MVA is fighting the upcoming MLC biennial elections and MLA bypolls in the state unitedly and will continue to fight in the same spirit in future also.
