Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event international yoga day (IDY) of Karnataka. in Mysore this year. IDY is celebrated every year on 21st June.
Mysuru DC Bagadi Gautam officially confirmed this.
According to a letter written by Rajesh Kumar Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH to Karnataka Chief Secretary P Ravi Kumar, it has been informed that the main event of this year’s IDY will be celebrated in Mysore in which PM Modi will participate.
The state government has been asked to make all necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the event.
