Chikkamagaluru: At least two women died after a tree fell on a house in Karnataka chikkamagaluru Tuesday Night District
The incident took place at around 10.30 pm in Talgur village under Balur police limits in Mudigere taluk of the district.
The deceased have been identified as Chandramma (55) and Sarita (37).
According to the local people, Sarita and Chandramma were neighbors as well as relatives. On Tuesday night, Sarita slept with her two children (both males) at Chandramma’s house, fearing that a big tree might fall at her house. A tree fell on Chandramma’s house in the night.
Sarita died on the spot, while Chandramma breathed her last on the way to the hospital. Both the children were safe.
