Karnataka will firmly defend the border dispute with Maharashtra, says Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Hubli News – Times of India

Hubli: Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai made it clear on Sunday that the government has seriously considered border dispute between Karnataka and Maharashtra and will effectively defend the state’s stand firmly Supreme court on 23 November.
Speaking to reporters at the airport in Hubli, Bommai said the government was making all preparations to make it effective in court. He also said that he had discussed the border dispute matter with the Advocate General.
“Besides, an in-depth study has been done in this regard. A team of senior and experienced advocates will be appointed soon”, he added.
He said that the team of several senior lawyers, including senior advocate Dewan, is preparing by focusing on the matter.
