Kartik Aaryan turns out to be one of the biggest stars of 2022 with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Freddy doing well.

Kartik Aaryan has finally answered the speculations of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3.

Actor Kartik Aaryan made his big screen debut with filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), which earned him instant recognition as the ‘Monologue Man’. Even eleven and a half years after its release, the film is still remembered for its gripping and quirky plot and the camaraderie shared by its male characters. Hence, it comes as no surprise that despite the impressive line-up of films, Kartik’s fans are most curious about the third installment of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise. And when producer-director Abhishek Pathak in a recent interview said that there are plans to take the franchise forward, fans of the film couldn’t contain their excitement.

However, in an exclusive chat with News18, Kartik revealed that there is no update on Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3 as of now as both Luv and him have a lot going on at the moment. “He is busy with the post-production work of his next film (Tu Jhootha Main Makkar). Hence, there is no update on the collaboration as of now. He has to take a call but I am always ready that he will call me for the film. He launched me and I have a special place for him in my heart. I am waiting for him to offer me a film,” said the 32-year-old actor.

Talking about the impact the film had on his career, Kartik says, “Pyaar Ka Punchnama has gained a cult status. Wherever I go people always ask about my monologues in films. It’s been years since the movies released but he has added monologues with me and it makes me feel very happy and grateful. He further adds, “It takes years for an actor to have an iconic dialogue attached to him, but I got that really early in my career. The monologues were one of a kind. I consider myself lucky that I got a chance to prove myself with these two films and those lines.

Though he did two memorable projects with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 in a span of five years, Kartik revealed that even after the success of the latter, he went through an identity crisis. “Till Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, I was looking for a hit film. There was an identity crisis that I was going through. People don’t understand who I am and they don’t know my name.”

Recalling that period, the actor, who delivered a superhit with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year, commented, “At that time, I was in a dilemma. people weren’t giving me that [significant] There is also a possibility after the release of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, which earned around Rs 70 crore at the box office. The makers still didn’t know my name. They didn’t know whether to cast me in a film, make me the solo lead in my films or trust me for a bigger film.

Karthik further revealed that he had gone through a period of financial difficulty, and the choice he made after 2015 was a ‘gamble’. He elaborates, “Something or the other was going wrong and hence, I was very confused if I was doing the right thing. But at the same time, I was confident that I know my craft and the audience enjoys watching me on screen. He continued to me. It was just that some of my choices were questioned because perhaps the audience could not relate to my characters. I didn’t have enough money at that time and had no idea what my future would be like. It was all a gamble.”

But it was the comedy drama Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) that finally helped him find his rhythm and switch gears. “The film gave me an identity. one needs a lot of patience [to make it in the industry] And my patience has been greatly tested. But I think I’ve been patient enough. I am happy that today I am getting its fruits,” says Kartik, who has kitty hits with Shehzada, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Captain India, Aashiqui 3 and filmmaker Kabir Khan’s next next.
