Sara Ali Khan hosted a star-studded Diwali party on Thursday night and Kartik Aaryan joined in the celebrations.
As Diwali season has commenced, people have started dressing up to the nines and attending Diwali parties to celebrate the festival with their loved ones. Bollywood celebrities are no exception. Actress Sara Ali Khan recently hosted a Diwali bash to celebrate the festival of lights and it was a star-studded affair. Kartik Aaryan also attended the event and looked dapper in an ethnic look.
For the party, Kartik opted for a yellow kurta with white pajamas and black kholapuris. He stopped to posed for the paps before enterting the venue. Kartik was seen in his new short hair avatar which he has donned for his upcoming film Chandu Champion.
Fans were happy to see Kartik arriving for Sara’s Diwali party. One person wrote, “OMG my sartik heart .” Another added, “Wow yaar soo cute yaar.” Another added, “Looking smart in laddoo peela colour.” Another fan commented, “Just handsome.”
Recently, Sara Ali Khan appeared on Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee with Karan 8 with Ananya Panday. Both actresses are said to have dated Kartik but are close friends with one another. Addressing this, Sara said, “I don’t want to say that ‘ya, it’s all easy’ because it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. Like when you’re involved with anybody, whether they are friends or professionally, whether it’s romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested.”
“Something that I’ve realized, without sounding semi-negative, is that there actually are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my limited experience, there’s no point making best friendships and pinky promises and ‘I won’t do this, I’ll never talk to you again’. These nevers and always don’t happen,” Sara added.
Sara was also asked to dedicate a shayari to Kartik and she called him “cool”. While Kartik and Sara weren’t spotted together for quite some time after their breakup, they have seemed to develop a cordial relationship over time.
