Shahid Kapoor rents a Juhu house to Kartik Aaryan for Rs 7.5 lakh.

Shahid Kapoor has rented out his sea-facing Juhu apartment Bollywood Star Karthik Aryan. As per a report in Economic Times, the luxury residence has been leased for a period of 3 years, during which Bhool Bhulaiyaa fame Shahid Kapoor is liable to pay a total of Rs 2.89 crore. If reports are to be believed, Karthik Aryan has already given a security deposit of Rs 45 lakh. The deal reportedly shows that the rent will increase by 7 per cent each year, which means the rent to be paid monthly during the first year of the contract is around Rs. 7.50 lakhs.
The increased rent in 2024 is said to be 8.02 lakhs, while it will increase to 8.58 lakhs in the third year of the lease. The luxurious property under consideration is spread over 3.681 sq. ft. on the ground floor and basement of a residential building located in the posh locality of Juhu Tara Road. Reportedly, Japki claims that during the time of the lease, Kartik Aaryan has exclusive rights to access two car parking slots owned by Shahid.
The contract was reportedly signed between Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari and Shahid’s wife Mira Kapoor last Thursday, January 12. The married couple used to live in the apartment till last year. In September 2022, they moved into their new residence, a plush duplex facing the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, with kids Misha and Zain. Shahid Kapoor had bought the apartment before tying the knot with Mira Rajput. Meanwhile, according to Hindustan Times, Kartik Aaryan lived in Versova with his family. It is important to note that both Shahid Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan have neither confirmed nor denied the details of the lease agreement signed so far.
