This has been possible with the cooperation of the people of Kashi and no special treasury was arranged for this.”
Modi also discussed the need for a stable government for the development of the country and the state. “The country paid the price for an unstable government for 30 years as no important decisions could be taken even in departments like railways. Apart from stability, continuity is also essential for an accountable government,” Modi said.
Explaining the reason for the introduction of Vande Bharat Express trains, he said that change needed speed and progress for the poor too. “Travelling in this train shows that even poor traders are traveling in it as they are getting enough space to take their goods and products.”
