After weeks of speculation, Bollywood the actors Katrina Kaif And Vicky Kaushal Finally married. The star couple and their close family and friends gathered in the picturesque town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan to host a grand three-day wedding, which began on Tuesday (December 7).
The celebrity couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel. Soon after completing the wedding rituals, Katrina and Vicky shared their official pictures as newlyweds on their respective social media accounts. Sharing the pictures, the couple wrote: “In our hearts there is only love and gratitude for what brought us to this moment. Wishing you all your love and blessings, we begin this new journey together.”
Congratulations are pouring in from all over for the newly wed couple. Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was among the first celebs to send wishes to the couple. Alia, who is currently dating Katrina’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, started liking the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ star’s wedding pictures. Alia wrote with a series of red heart emojis, “Oh my god, you guys look gorgeous.”
Ranbir’s cousin, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan commented, “You did!!! God bless you both!” While Priyanka said, “So happy for you! Mere yaar ki shaadi hai! Congratulations to you both! You are perfect together!” Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, wished Katrina and Vicky “a lifetime of love, laughter, loyalty, respect and companionship”.
Tiger Shroff simply commented, “Congratulations.” While director Abhishek Kapoor wrote, “Many congratulations, Katrina and Vicky. God bless you both!” Parineeti Chopra wrote, “Katy- only love and you and happiness!” Katrina’s co-star Hrithik Roshan commented, “Awesome! Sending my love to you both!!! For the wedding, Katrina Kaif wore a traditional red lehenga by ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, while Vicky opted for a beige sherwani. Their pre-wedding rituals officially began on December 7 when Bollywood celebrities including Kabir Khan, his wife Mini Mathur and their daughter Saira and close friends of the couple left Mumbai for Jaipur. Angad Bedi, Neha Dhupia, Sharvari Wagh, Radhika Madan, and Malavika Mohanan followed suit and picked up the pace of the ceremony.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif dated for almost two years before tying the knot on December 9. The couple kept their relationship short.
