Kavya Maran’s reaction to Kyle Mayer’s dismissal sets the internet on fire. look | cricket news

Sunrisers Hyderabad had little to celebrate in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Lucknow Super Giants. With only 121 runs on the board, the SRH bowling unit did a good job of removing the 5 LSG batsmen. Although the bowlers tried their best to keep the team in the game, it was not enough in the end, with Lucknow walking away with a 5-wicket win. But, the exit of dangerous player Kyle Mayers gave some hope to the team, and it was visible from the reaction of Sunrisers franchise owner Kavya Maran.

Maran was overjoyed to see Mayer, arguably the most in-form batsman in the league go cheaply. However, the team failed to capitalize in the later stages of the match.

A few pictures of Maran’s gestures also emerged from the later stages of the match where she didn’t look particularly happy.

When it comes to matches, Lucknow Super Giants beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets to go on top of the IPL 2023 standings at the moment. With two wins from three matches and a healthy net run rate of 1.358, the KL Rahul-led side is at the number one spot.

Sunrisers, on the other hand, are at the bottom of the league with zero wins in 2 matches and a net run rate of -2.867.

Spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya (3/18) starred with bat and ball. He restricted the Sunrisers top-order to 121/8 before hitting a crucial 23-ball 34 to hand LSG their second win of the season.

With the bat, nothing went Sunrisers’ way as Kunal took the wraps off openers Anmolpreet Singh and Mayank Agarwal and skipper Aiden Markram.

Veteran spinner Amit Mishra (2/23) took two wickets.

For Sunrisers, Rahul Tripathi scored 35 runs in 41 balls.
