KC Mahindra Education Trust invites applications for scholarship of Rs 10000 for Polytechnic Diploma courses

KC Mahindra education Trust (KCMET) has announced its annual Mahindra All . Applications are invited for India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2022. It aims to encourage and support students from low-income families who wish to pursue job-oriented diploma courses from recognized government polytechnic institutions in India. 550 students are awarded a scholarship award of Rs 10,000 annually for a maximum period of 3 years.

To be eligible, a candidate must have passed SSC or class 10 and HSC or class 12 or equivalent examination with more than 60 percent marks. Candidate must have got admission in any government or any other recognized polytechnic institute for diploma course. This scholarship will be given to only those candidates who are enrolling for the first year of their course. The shortlisted applicants will be informed about the date and venue of the interview in advance.

KC Mahindra Education Trust is providing this scholarship since 1995. So far, 11,290 students across India have been awarded this scholarship. While awarding scholarships, special preference is given to girls, children from low income families, children with disabilities and children of armed forces personnel.

MAITS achievers have overcome adversity and have carved a new course in their life. Today MAITS award winners are in established positions in various fields like computer engineering, civil engineering, information technology, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering etc.

With its vision to transform the lives of people through education in India, by providing them financial support and recognition, across age groups and income groups, KCMET has taken up several education initiatives. , Since inception, these initiatives have transformed the lives of more than 800,000 deserving and needy students through the provision of over USD 119.83 million in the form of scholarships, livelihood training programmes, educational aid and financial assistance.
