KCET result 2022: Pharma topper Shishir RK, CS aiming for IIT Bombay

Speaking to News18, Shishir, a student of Narayan ETechno School Vidyaranyapura, said that he was quite confident to see himself among the top 10 rank holders, but it came as a surprise to him to emerge as the first rank holder of KCET under Pharma category. Was. He secured a total of 178/180 marks in KCET and secured CET percentile of 100. Meanwhile, overall CBSE Result, he secured 97.9 percent marks.

The topper who now wants to crack the IIT entrance exam – JEE Advanced said that he did not follow the usual practice of 12-14 hours of study and instead used to take short breaks after every hour of preparation. What he said worked for him was his consistency during studies as he claims he never missed a day.

Comparing his JEE Main and KCET preparations, he said, “JEE preparation was more challenging. JEE is a bit tougher than KCET. In KCET, the weightage of a candidate’s board marks is 50 percent which can help a candidate to score better. However, there is no such weightage in JEE. I am hoping to do well in JEE as well. JEE Main final result including rank is expected this week.

In KCET 2022, Apoorva Tandon, who secured 98.61 per cent marks, topped the engineering stream this year. Moreover, Arjun Ravi Shankar is the topper of KCET Agriculture exam. A total of 2,16,559 candidates had applied for KCET this year, out of which 2,10,829 took the exam.

There were 1,71,656 qualified Engineering candidates, 1,74,568 qualified B Pharma candidates and 1,39,968 qualified B.Sc candidates (Agriculture). Candidates can check their KCET results at kea.kar.nic.in. To verify the results of KCET 2022 they have to log in using their registration number and first four characters of the candidate’s name.
