KCR’s party member chased, stabbed to death in Telangana’s Khamman

Hyderabad:

A member of the ruling TRS was stabbed to death on Monday in a village in Telangana’s Khammam district.

Tammineni Krishnaiah was returning from his bike after attending the Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony. Four men in an auto chased him and stopped him.

A police officer said they stabbed him to death and fled the spot.

Special teams have been formed to arrest the attackers.

Meanwhile, supporters of the victim tried to throw stones at the house of a person belonging to another political party, who was missing on suspicion of his involvement.

Near the scene of the incident is the house of the missing youth.
However, the police brought the situation under control, the official said.

There are allegations of involvement of the missing person and the facts, including the motive for the murder, will be known after investigation, the official said.
