Kerala NEET Counseling 2021 Rank List Declared, Number of Female Candidates Increased

The rank list for Kerala NEET counseling 2021 was released by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) on Tuesday, December 14. A total of 42,059 candidates have been shortlisted from the NEET 2021 results. Candidates can check the rank list at cee.kerala.gov.in.

Out of the total candidates selected for all the medical courses 37,991 are eligible for MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS and BSMS courses offered by the medical colleges of Kerala. The state offers 4,105 seats in medical courses. There are 31722 female candidates, 10337 are male.

Gaurishankar S, who has AIR 17 with 715 marks, has topped the state medical rank list 2021, followed by Vaishna Jayawardhanan at 23rd position and second in the state with a score of 710. RR Kavinesh is at third position who secured AIR 31 and is in third position. 710 percentile.

The Kerala NEET UG counseling process will offer seats in private and government medical colleges under the 85 percent state quota available to domicile NEET candidates.

Kerala NEET Counseling 2021: Documents Required

Here is the list of documents that candidates will need during the verification process at the allotted colleges:

– Aadhar Card

Class 10 or SSLC certificate as valid age proof

Self attested copy of class 12 mark sheet

Self attested copy of mark sheet of HSC or equivalent examination

– Kerala domicile certificate

Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate for SEBC/OEC Reservation

– Caste certificate for SC/ST category candidates

Self attested copy of medical certificate for PWD category candidates

Kerala NEET Counseling 2021: Seat Allotment Process

The candidates will now be allotted seats through a centralized allotment process. Those included in the medical rank list of Kerala NEET will have to select the institute/course for which they wish to apply from the list provided on the official website of CEE. They are free to choose as many options as they want. The final allotment will be done considering the preference of the candidate and their rank in the state merit list.

After allotment, candidates have to freeze the seats in the given time. Those wishing to opt for seats will have to complete the online admission process by paying the seat acceptance fee. The candidates will have to report to the allotted colleges with the provisional admit card later on the scheduled date.

As part of NEET 2021 counselling, each college has its own cut-off, and candidates appearing in the rank list need to clear these cutoffs to secure admission.
