The Kerala government on Wednesday announced relaxation of working hours for its employees suffering from autistic disorder, cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities and mental retardation.
The government said in a statement here that one of the government employees who is the parent of a child with 40 per cent or more disabilities will be given relaxation in working hours.
It added that one such employee would be allowed a maximum of 16 hours out of the total working hours in a month.
