‘KGF: Chapter 2’ OTT rights sold to a popular OTT platform for a record amount – Times of India

rocky bhai History is here to break and make. First with record box office collection and second with OTT rights of the film achieved by a popular OTT platform for a record amount which is estimated to be around Rs 320 crores. According to reports, the streaming of the film will start from May 27. The makers are yet to confirm the OTT streaming date.

With the film finally moving from the big screen to the mini screen, fans are really excited to give Rocky Bhai several scenes from his favorite scenes in the film on the OTT platform.

Yash starrer released on 14th April and since that day the film has been breaking and setting new records with huge amount of positive reactions from the audience.


Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has become the fourth Indian film to gross over 1000 crores globally. ,KGF’ also holds the title of being the highest grossing film in the Kannada film industry. The film also set a record in Kerala as it surpassed Mohanlal starrer ‘Odiyan’ to become the highest-grossing film of the day.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ has started its journey of success at the box office in the first weekend itself as it has collected over Rs 552 crore in the opening weekend globally.

A continuation of Chapter One, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ had all the elements for actor Yash to shine in his role as Rocky Bhai and with the right placement of Prashanth Neel’s advanced sequences, both the film fans and the general audience were awestruck. It was worth watching several times.

Apart from Yash, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ also featured actor Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena TandonArchana Jois, and Prakash Raj are in lead roles.
