‘Khatm, Tata, bye-bye’: BJP mocks Rahul with parody video, Congress hits back with ‘Chawani Chhap’

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday shared a parody video of Rahul Gandhi, captioned with the Congress leader’s “Khatm, Tata, bye” remark, which is now a very famous meme.

animated video mock Rahul Gandhi and the Congress’s Bharat Jodi Yatra with satirical displays of the party’s recent issues, including the exodus in Goa, the resignation of leaders in Jammu and Kashmir after Ghulam Nabi Azad, and the Rajasthan political crisis. “First Congress jodi,” is mentioned in the video.

The parody video also features Sonia Gandhi at the end. “Mom, why bad times don’t end? Khatam… Tata… Goodbye,” wrote a tweet from the official handle of the BJP, sharing the video.

Congress also hit back at the saffron party with a photo of 25 paise. Congress leader Supriya Srinet reacted to the video and said that the entire party is a “Chawni printed [cheap] troll”.

The entire BJP has become a chawni chhap troll due to the fear of ‘Bharat Jodi Yatra’. But this fear is good! I wish so much effort had gone into finding a solution to unemployment and inflation,” said Shrinate, tweeting a picture of 25 paise.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is currently on a five-month long march as part of the ‘Bharat Jodi Yatra’. This journey, which started from Kanyakumari on 7th September, has covered a distance of 905 km so far. It will pass through a total of 12 states and will end in Jammu and Kashmir.
