kias India has announced that it has sold 22,322 cars in the country in the last month i.e. August 2022. This has helped the Korean manufacturer register a 33.27% year-on-year growth in sales, while also maintaining its position among the top 5 best-selling carmakers for the month.
kias Seltos It emerged as the best selling product for the company in August 2022, registering sales of 8,652 units, followed by Sonet, Carnival and Carnival with 7,838, 5,558 and 274 units respectively. Kia India also revealed that it recorded its highest monthly export figure, having shipped over 8,100 units to other markets last month.
Following in the footsteps of Seltos X-Line, the company today also launched the Sonnet X-Line variant. The Sonet sits at the top of the X-Line range, and is based on the GT Line version of the sub-compact SUV. Available with 1.0-litre turbo-petrol 7DCT and 1.5-litre diesel 6AT powertrain options, the Sonet X-Line is priced from Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

Just last month, Kia celebrated the 3 lakh sales milestone of the Seltos – its first product in the country.
