Kia Sonet X line officially teased: Here are the details – Times of India

witness to the huge success of Kia Sonet SUV in the Indian market, kias All set to expand its variant line-up. Today, the company has released a teaser video of the X Line version which will soon be added to the Sonnet version list.
The teaser video posted on Kia’s social media handle provides a glimpse of the upcoming variant, which will be positioned above the top-spec. GTX The Plus variant of the Sonet SUV. The brand is following the same strategy as it did Seltos X Line type.
Kia has showcased the rugged Seltos X line at Auto Expo 2020 which has a lot of different elements in comparison to the regular Sonnet. However, the production version was subtle.

Apart from this, the company will add some red inserts on the grille, wheels and bumpers to give it a sporty look. Additionally, Kia may add a smoky effect to the tail-lamps as well. The X Line variant is expected to be similar to the Hyundai N Line variant.
As far as the interiors are concerned, the layout of the Kia Sonnet X line will be similar to that of the GTX Plus. The X line will get leather seat upholstery, front ventilated seats, automatic climate control, air purifier, Bose sound system and more.
Under the hood, the Kia Sonnet X line will get two engine options – a 1.0-litre turbo petrol with a 7-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed automatic torque converter. The X Line variant will likely not be available in manual or iMT options.
In terms of pricing, we expect Kia to follow the same pricing strategy as it did with the Seltos X line. The Kia Sonnet X line is expected to be priced around Rs 10,000 – Rs 15,000 (ex-showroom) over the top-spec GTX Plus variant.
