Kiara Advani who was styled by celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr, made a stunning debut at the French Riviera.
Kiara Advani made a dramatic entrance announcing her arrival at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Looking vivacious in renowned fashion designer Prabal Gurung’s exquisite draped dress, Kiara shared a sneak peek of her ‘Rendezvous at the Riviera’ on Instagram.
Fresh as a daisy, Kiara’s ivory crepe back satin dress featured a thigh-high slit and dramatic sleeves. The statement piece is part of Prabal’s Fall Winter 2024 Fragmented Memories collection. The collection which was presented at the New York Fashion Week in 2024, acknowledges the blurred lines between memory and reality, inviting introspection.
Kiara looked ethereal in the soft pastel shade of ivory which played the perfect canvas to highlight the risque cut-outs in the ensemble. Draped and styled with perfection by celebrity fashion stylist Lakshmi Lehr and assisted by Elsie Chetry and Abhimanyu Desai.
Complementing her stylish, chic look were the twisted fancy diamond pearl earrings from Tara Fine Jewellery and the heritage ring from Mahesh Notandass. Kiara who is known for her love for gold, adorned a handcrafted handcuff from Ishhaara jewellery. Her sun-kissed flawless features were highlighted with Lekha Gupta’s makeup artistry. As for her crowning glory, her hair was styled by Priyanka Borkar. The half-tie hairstyle was accentuated with soft waves and pearl accessories.
With a spring in her step and the wind in her hair, Kiara took to Instagram to announce her arrival at Cannes with a cute caption: She said, “Rendezvous at the Riviera.” With compliments pouring in for the stylish look she adorned by her industry friends, we also spotted Prabal Gurung leave a ‘Yessss’ comment on her post.
We love this Prabal Gurung and Kiara Advani collaboration and hope to see more of his designs on this Indian diva. If her arrival announcement was so magical and stylish we can’t wait for Kiara to make her red carpet debut at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
Kiara will be attending the Women in Cinema initiative organised by the Red Sea Film Foundation. The gala will take place on the sidelines of the 6th round of the Cannes Film Festival and Kiara Advani will be honoured.
