Chandigarh Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday said that unvaccinated children in the age group of 15-18 years will not be allowed to attend offline classes when schools reopen.

Schools are currently closed in the state amid rising cases of novel coronavirus over the past few weeks.

In Haryana, more than 15 lakh children between the age group of 15-18 years are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine.

With a huge jump in the number of COVID cases in the state, Vij said two nodal officers would be appointed for each district, one in government hospitals and the other in private ones. He said that these nodal officers would inform the state government about the arrangements available in the hospitals.
