Kristen Stewart’s ‘Spencer’ to hit Indian cinemas on November 19

The film focuses on three turbulent days in the life of Princess Diana during Christmas 1991, where Diana and her family are living in Sandringham.

Filmmaker Pablo Laren’s feature film “Spencer”, starring Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana, will release in the country on November 19.

The film will be released in cinemas across the country by Impact Films, the company said in a statement.

“Spencer” focuses on three turbulent days in Princess Diana’s life during Christmas 1991, where Diana and her family are living at Sandringham, a famous royal tradition.

According to the official plot, “On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Diana learns that her marriage is falling apart and she doesn’t want to be the future queen.”

The film also stars Jack Farthing, Timothy Spall, Sean Harris and Sally Hawkins.

The film debuted at Venice Film Festival in September this year, followed by screenings at several renowned film festivals like Toronto, Telluride, New York.

‘Spencer’ was released in the United States and the United Kingdom on 5 November.
