Kunal Khemu lost his maternal grandmother. Kunal took to Instagram on Sunday to pen an emotional note in the sweet memory of his “nani”. He also shared a picture in which his daughter Inaaya is seen sharing a cute moment with him. “I lost my nanny today. We all called her Maji. She really earned that name in all of us lives. She loved all of us like a mother and every time we were in her company, we Worked so hard to make everyone comfortable and happy. I have such special and wonderful memories that tell me stories, feed me, take care of me, buy me things that my parents sometimes and always have Tells me to believe in myself and not to be deceived by anything or anyone,” he wrote.
Kunal described his grandmother as his biggest cheerleader.
“My biggest cheerleader ever. He lived a full life full of joy, happiness, laughter, sadness, struggle and pain. He is the epitome of strength, compassion and love for me. Can’t remember I ever saw him cry. Always Saw him busy. With something. Making things out of nothing and always making sure everyone is taken care of and especially I am well fed. I will always miss you, Maji,” he said.

Kunal married Soha Ali Khan in 2015 which was attended by his close friends and family. In 2017, they welcomed their daughter Inaaya Naumi Khemu. Recently, Kunal and Soha turned writers as they wrote the children’s book ‘Ini and Bobo’, which released on April 25. Apart from this, Kunal is doing a film ‘Kanjoos Makuchoos’ with Vipul Shah and also ‘Malang 2’.
