Apart from this, free education will be provided to these children from class 1 to 12, in which they will be exempted from tuition fee, Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) fee etc. Admission under this category will be given by the concerned KV. On the recommendation of the District Magistrate of the district. DMs can recommend a maximum of 10 students per school with a ridership of two students per class. In order to implement the decision of the government, the admission guidelines of KVS which are currently running over 1200 odd schools across the country along with three on foreign soil including Kathmandu, Tehran and Moscow have been changed. The list of 4058 registered eligible beneficiaries under PM Care Children Scheme has been received from the Ministry of Education and sent to the RO which is now shared with the principals. An officer of the field will be designated as the nodal officer for coordinating with the stakeholders for the admission of children under the scheme.

Sources reveal that about a dozen children of Prayagraj are eligible to be admitted under the said scheme.
