Regional language film Maharashtra Sahir is making headlines and is set for a theatrical release later this week. Ever since the makers released its trailer, the film has garnered a lot of attention and generated excitement among its audience. Not just the trailer, but its music album has also taken the internet by storm. Bahrala Ha Madhumas and Jau Nako Kisan have become very popular. Even the dancing brother-sister duo from Tanzania shared their latest reel of them grooving to the tunes.

Kylie Paul and her sister Neema have shared a video of the song Baharala Ha Madhumas. Kylie appears on screen for the first time, lip-syncing to the songs sung by Ajay Gogavale. He walks away from the camera to reveal Nima, who has mastered the hook step of the song. She performs beautifully in the melodious voice of Shreya Ghoshal. The brother-sister duo is infamous for lip-syncing and dancing to popular songs despite not knowing the language.

The original music video features actors Sana Shinde and Ankush Chowdhary. The actors along with director Kedar Shinde reposted Kylie and Nima’s dance reel on Instagram. Many fans of both from India appreciated their video. One user wrote, “Kya baat hai bhai, shaandaar.” Some called him ‘multitalented’. Another said that Kylie and Nima Paul are “uniting two countries.”

The song Baharala Ha Madhumas has already garnered lakhs of views and many influencers are making reels for the song. The film Maharashtra Shaheer will release on 28 April. It is a musical biopic on the life of Maharashtrian singer Shaheer Sable. He also worked as a playwright, folk theater producer and director. The much-awaited film is produced by Sanjay Chhabria and Bela Shinde. Shahir is played by actor Ankush Chowdhary, and Sana Shinde will play Shahir’s wife Bhanumati Sable. The film also stars Mrunmayi Deshpande as Lata Mangeshkar, Dushyant Wagh as Balasaheb Thackeray, Atul Kale as Yashwantrao Chavan and Amit Dolawat as Sane Guruji. Other cast includes Ashwini Mahanagade, Shubhangi Sadavarte and Nirmiti Sawant.
