Lakshmi Manchu exudes royalty in six-yard sheer elegance at her brother Manoj Manchu’s wedding

Lakshmi Manchu looked royal in her brother Manoj Manchu’s wedding. Manoj, who recently tied the knot with Bhuma Monica Reddy, got married at his sister Lakshmi Manchu’s Film Nagar residence in Hyderabad. His family members and close friends were involved in this marriage.

Lakshmi who posted a series of pictures capturing some special moments from the wedding looked stunning in two different sarees for the special occasion. for the wedding ceremony. Lakshmi wore a traditional ivory Kanjeevaram saree and paired it with a blouse embroidered with zardozi and enhanced with Swarovski crystals. Crystal beads hung from the border of the sleeves adding drama to the look.

The timeless silhouette was teamed with jewelry that included a long layered emerald necklace, choker and tushi necklace made of crystals. The jewelery for the wedding day dress was designed by Gunas Diamond Jewellery. The waistband, nose ring and earrings completed her look.

For the Pellikoduku ceremony, Lakshmi chose to wear a Banarasi silk saree woven by Shikari. The pastel blue saree was teamed with a contemporary pink blouse with an interesting sleeveless pattern. With intricate embroidery of elephants, deer and peacocks all over the saree, Lakshmi accessorised her look with jewelery from Khanna Jewellers.

After styling her look herself and choosing sarees that were not designer wear, Lakshmi looked and felt happy with her choice. When asked about her much talked about traditional look, Lakshmi said, “I styled myself. I didn’t want to go with a big designer, I’ve done that before but for my brother’s wedding I really wanted to make it more personal and more involving.

The pastel blue Banarasi silk saree set the tone for summer weddings and also celebrated Lakshmi’s personality to a tee.

Expressing her love for Indian weaves, Lakshmi gifted timeless Gadwal sarees to all her friends. Speaking about her love for Indian weaving, Lakshmi says, “So, the basic idea was to go with weaving. This is not just to make a statement but if you look at the diversity of weaving in India, it is incredible and what better occasion than to showcase our own craftsmanship. So, I will shop wherever I go. I shopped in Coimbatore and Kashi. The saree that I wore at the wedding, I got from Coimbatore, actually on Shivratri”.
