Lama Kitchen serving delicious Tibetan food in Delhi’s Hauz Khas village

When we think of bustling nightlife spots in Delhi, Hauz Khas village is the first thing that comes to mind. Located in the heart of South Delhi, party venues in this area have grown manifold in the last one year. However, amidst all this hullabaloo, there are some amazing restaurants in Hauz Khas Village that are serving delicious food. If you want to eat and load up on delicious food before a long night of parties, Llama Kitchen is the place to be. Located right next to the entrance of Hauz Khas Fort, Lama Kitchen is serving authentic Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine to its diners.

Foodies in Delhi have developed a special fondness for Tibetan cuisine. Places like Majnu ka Teela are hugely popular among the city’s foodies. And Llama Kitchen is no different! From heart-warming momos to ginger ale, belly-filling thukpas to tangy Nepali snacks – there is a lot to choose from. The first thing that caught our attention was this eatery with an amazing balcony area located on the second floor, right next to the Hauz Khas Fort. Our senses were at ease and with the live music, it certainly made for the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.

we started with Crispy Spinach Perfectly fried spinach leaves with onion fritters. Next, we tried Llama’s Pan-Fried Momos, a signature dish which was quite a delight. These dishes were accompanied by three types of chutneys of varying spice levels. we would highly recommend trying Mixed Veg Ema Datchi, a savory soup served with a soft bun called tingmo on the side. we ended up with Classic Brownies It was filled with chocolate and was simply irresistible.
