After several MPs in the United Kingdom resigned from Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s cabinet, Larry the Downing Street Cat also shared his “resignation message” on Twitter.

“I can no longer be with this Prime Minister in good conscience. Either he goes, or I do,” read the social media post. The Cabinet Office’s “Chief Mauser” also spoke at the photoshopped miniature podium in front of Downing Street. Tweeted a picture of a cat standing alongside.

It comes after a series of resignations from Westminster. Boris Johnson’s finance and health secretaries resigned on Tuesday, along with several ministers. According to reports, more than 20 members of the government have resigned in the past 24 hours in protest against Mr Johnson’s leadership.
