Lava International’s 5G smartphone was unveiled by Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav at the India Mobile Congress in Delhi. worth 10,000, Lava Blaze 5G is all set to become the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. The affordable 5G smartphone will be launched before Diwali.
Sunil Raina, President and Business Head, Lava International had earlier expressed his desire to introduce an affordable 5G smartphone for India. Feather 10,000, is likely to complete the agenda of Lava Blaze 5G.
The handset is believed to sport a glass back and look similar to the Lava Blaze Pro that the company recently launched. It is powered by MediaTek chipset and packs a 5,000mAh battery.
The Lava Blaze 5G will be available in Blue and Green colours.
“It has always been our desire to develop an accessible 5G smartphone that is made in India. This product aligns with the larger vision of providing next generation 5G technology to Indians at an affordable price point. “Making the power of 5G technology accessible to all,” said Sunil Raina, President and Business Head, Saath Hum Hain Lava International.
He said that the pre-bookings of Lava Blaze 5G will start around Diwali this year. Built on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, the smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel (MP) AI triple rear camera and an 8MP front camera and will come with an anonymous call recording feature.
This Lava handset has 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by inserting a microSD card. The 5G smartphone runs on Android 12 operating system and comes with dual SIM support.
Lava Blaze 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
