Suella Braverman, 42, is a Conservative Party MP from Fareham in south-east England. He had served as the Attorney General in the government led by Boris Johnson. He is one of 28 so-called “Spartan” Tory MPs who refused to vote on former Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal in parliament on all three occasions.

Suella Braverman was born on 3 April 1980 and was named Sue-Ellen Cassiana Fernandes. She is the daughter of Hindu Tamil mother Uma and Goan-born father Christy Fernandes. His mother emigrated from Mauritius to the UK, while his father emigrated from Kenya in the 1960s.

In May 2015 he was elected as the Conservative MP for Fareham. Suella Braverman was among the first contenders to throw her hat in the ring to replace Boris Johnson as Tory leader and prime minister, the latter being forced to resign amid several scandals, including partygate.

Suella Braverman withdrew her support after being out of the race in the second round of the preliminary ballot. liz trusswho, as prime minister, has rewarded him with one of the highest positions in the UK government.

According to a BBC report, Suela Braverman will be tasked with projects such as the government’s plan to send some asylum seekers to Rwanda, which has faced legal challenges.

The former attorney general is known for his pro-Brexit stance. She is a key member of the pro-Brexit wing of the Conservatives, who want a clear break from Europe, including getting the UK out of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

The Indian-origin Cambridge University graduate married Royal Braverman in 2018, and her maternity leave brought an overdue legal turnaround last year. She remained a cabinet minister while she was away to give birth to her second child.

Braverman is a Buddhist who regularly visits the London Buddhist Center and took the oath of office in Parliament on the “Dhammapada”, a text of the Buddha’s words.
