Less chance of rain, weak front will come on Sunday – World Latest News Headlines

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – After a stormy start on Saturday, Houston is drying up as we head into the evening.

Temperatures going back into the 80s, then into the 70s after sunset. Fog spots are likely to develop as we move toward sunrise, especially north of I-10.

The Radar will remain fairly calm throughout the night and for most of Sunday. In the afternoon, the weak front may merge with the sea breeze leading to some rain. Much of the neighborhood will remain dry, but an inch of rain is possible in any given storm. Temperatures will warm into the mid and upper 80s before unfolding.

When the cold front first hits here, you won’t notice a big difference, but as we move into Monday, the humidity will slowly drop.

Well, you mentioned a front. How cool would that be?
This front is a “dry” front, which sheds more moisture than anything else. You’ll see cooler temperatures around sunrise in the 60s and less humidity in the afternoon sun. You can enjoy this dry air during the next working week.

Is there anything to worry about in the tropics?

At this time, no. Victor is circling over the Atlantic, and Sam begins to weaken as it passes Bermuda as a major hurricane. We’ll be monitoring the Caribbean for a tropical development at the end of the week. You can get a full overview of the tropics on our tropical update page.
