Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the allegations against the then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi were politically motivated, which has been proved by the Supreme Court dismissing the petition against the clean chit of the SIT.
Welcoming the Supreme Court’s decision which dismissed the petition challenging the clean chit given by an SIT to the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi In the 2002 riots case, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the truth was “shining like gold”.
In an interview to news agency ANI, Shah said that Modi had silently endured pain for 19 years like “Lord Shiva who swallowed poison and held it in his throat”.

“The Supreme Court has dismissed all the allegations. You can say in a way that the allegations were politically motivated, this has also been proved. It was a battle of 19 years, such a big leader suffered without saying a word like Lord Shiva who kept fighting after drinking poison. Now the truth has come out in the form of shining gold.
