Limited-run Honda CBR150R Repsol Edition gets styling update – Times of India

Honda Limited-run CBR150R . has launched Repsol The variant in the Malaysian market is RM 13,499, which is equivalent to Rs 2.42 lakh in Indian currency. This makes it around RM 1,000 (Rs 17,973) more expensive than the standard CBR150R, which is available in Matte Charcoal Gray Metallic and Candy Scintillate Red paint schemes.
New CBR150R Repsol The variant has Honda Racing Corporation’s MotoGP livery, including a primary orange paint, orange alloy wheels, as well as the fairing and Repsol branding on the front. Note that the production of the CBR150R Repsol variant will be limited to just 800 units.
No mechanical changes have been made to the bike. It gets the same 149 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC single-cylinder engine as the standard CBR150R, making 16.3 PS power at 9,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch.
The diamond frame of the motorcycle is suspended on upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes at both the ends along with dual-channel ABS. The CBR150R runs on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 100/80 front and 130/70 rear section tyres. It also has all-LED lighting and an LCD display.
While the limited-run CBR150R Repsol variant will not be able to make its way into the Indian market, the standard version of the motorcycle could help Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) expand its presence in the 150cc segment. If Honda decides to launch the CBR150R motorcycle in India, it will be a direct rival to the Yamaha YZF-R15 V4.
