With an aim to win their fourth title, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday. The MS Dhoni-led side has been in great form this year after a poor campaign last season. After finishing second in the IPL 2021 points table, Chennai progressed to the summit clash after beating Delhi Capitals (DC) by four wickets in Qualifier 1. Meanwhile, KKR have been in excellent form in the UAE and are fourth in the standings. The Eoin Morgan-led franchise defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by four wickets in the Eliminator followed by a three-wicket win against Delhi in Qualifier 2. CSK will rely heavily on young opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is currently second in the race for the Orange Cap. The 24-year-old has scored 603 runs in 15 matches and is only 23 runs behind leader KL Rahul. Meanwhile, all eyes will also be on Venkatesh Iyer.     Iyer has been in excellent form in the UAE this season and is one of the main reasons for KKR reaching the finals. The all-rounder did not participate in any games in India and started playing only in the UAE. He has scored 320 runs in nine matches this season. He also scored 55 runs in 41 balls during Qualifier 2 vs DC.
