Australian batsman Travis Head’s unbeaten century and opener David Warner’s 94 in the final session of the second day of the first Ashes Test put Australia in a position to take the lead here. At stumps, Australia are 343/7 in 84 overs and lead 196 runs with Head (112 not out) and Mitchell Starc (10 not out) at the crease.
