Women and Child Welfare Minister KV Ushasree Charan on Tuesday said that the Yuva Galam Padayatra to be undertaken by Nara Lokesh at Kuppam on January 27 will not have much impact.

The minister said the YSRC party is not intimidated by the TDP leader’s padyatra as it has no qualms about people’s support for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Road Safety Week in Anantapur on Tuesday, after visiting some houses under the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Dobhanam programme, Ms Ushasree Charan said she received positive feedback from women, who were beneficiaries of the welfare schemes.

Ms. Ushashree Charan rides a two wheeler with a helmet as a part of the National Road Safety Week celebration to explain the importance of wearing a helmet.

The Minister, along with Joint Collector Ketan Garg and Deputy Transport Commissioner N Shivaram Prasad, gave away prizes to the students who won the essay and painting competitions held over the past one week.
