Loop Wrapped Title Track Out: Taapsee Pannu, Tahir Raj Bhasin’s song full of thrill and quirks

Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin’s comedy thriller ‘Loop Lapeta’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. Helmed by Akash Bhatia, the film follows an adventurous ride through a difficult situation where a girlfriend (Taapsee Pannu) is on a mission to save her boyfriend (Tahir Raj Bhasin). After the huge appreciation that the film’s trailer received, the makers released the film’s title track on Friday (January 28).

The electronically programmed song features dubstep and percussion spectrums that add to the sense of adventure. The song is sung by Jai Anand and Siddhant Mago, composed by Siddhant and Mayank Mehra (Mikael). Siddhant has also written the lyrics of the song. The song’s visuals boast innovative camerawork and its progressive and new-age editing. The scenes have an intercut of characters of Taapsee and Tahir, who are dancing to the tunes of the song in a B-roll.

Earlier, the makers released the trailer of the film, which was appreciated by both the audience and critics alike. Dropping the trailer, which introduced us to Taapsee’s character Savi and her boyfriend Satya (Tahir), the actress wrote, “50 Lakh 50 Minutes Can Savi save Satya on time? @tahirrajbhasin. Loop wrapped, a Sony Pictures Films India Feature & Ellipsis Entertainment Production, directed by @bhatiaaakash, coming February 4, only on Netflix. #Looplapeta.”

Starring Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin, ‘Loop Lapeta’ is the Hindi adaptation of Tom Tykwer’s German experimental thriller ‘Run Lola Run’. Produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment and Aayush Maheshwari, ‘Loop Lapeta’ marks the feature film debut of renowned ad filmmaker Akash Bhatia.

The film is all set to premiere on Netflix on February 4.
