Lose Weight: Post-Workout Snack Recipes for Exercisers

If you like to work out hard or hit the gym often, make sure you eat plenty of protein while keeping a track on your calorie intake.

You won’t be able to lose weight or get in shape by depriving yourself. Here’s what you get by eating a balanced, healthy diet! If you enjoy vigorous exercise or are a gym enthusiast, don’t forget to eat plenty of protein while watching your calorie intake. Next, here are some post-workout snack meals you can make and eat.

Moong Dal Chilla

material:

  • Moong Dal, 1 cup
  • 1 chili; 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tsp jeera/jeera
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • Asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp water
  • coconut oil

The cup of washed moong dal should be soaked for two to three hours. After draining the water, put it in the blender. Mix in the spices (chili, ginger, and cumin) to make a smooth batter. Put salt, asafoetida, turmeric, coriander and green coriander in the batter. Mix well and add water, to make a batter with a flowing consistency. On the hot tawa, pour little batter and spread evenly. Olive oil should be poured over the cheese. Cook it with a lid on medium heat. To cook the chili on all sides, turn it over. Serve with green chutney.

Quinoa Upma:

  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 2 tsp. Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp. Oil
  • 1 ginger
  • 1 inch pinch asafoetida or asafoetida
  • 1 chili
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots and 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • salt as desired

Wash the quinoa thoroughly and put it in a fine mesh strainer. Filter the water, then keep it safe. In a wok with hot oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad and moong dal and mix. Ginger, chili and asafoetida should be added (optional). After this, beat onion and curry leaves in it. When the vegetables are well mixed, add finely chopped carrot, french beans and 1/3 cup frozen peas. After stirring well the washed quinoa is added. Fry on low flame for a minute or two. Then add salt and water as per taste. Bring to a boil, covering with a tight-fitting lid.

Oat Pancakes

material:

  • Oats, crumbled, in a cup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp cinnamon maple syrup
  • vegan coconut oil

Put the oats in a grinder and grind them finely. Pour 2 tbsp. Cinnamon, milk, eggs, salt, vanilla essence, baking powder and sugar. Together, blend to make a batter. Heat in a non stick pan. Add 1/4 cup cooking oil to grease surface. Put a small spoonful of batter and spread it in a circle. Cook till it turns light brown in color on both the sides. Serve it warm and top with a little maple syrup before serving.

Avocado Salad

material:

For Dressing:

  • 1 to 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 medium clove garlic, minced or finely chopped.

added components

  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 medium-sized avocados, to taste

Add salt, extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice should be mixed in a bowl. Paprika, black pepper, and minced garlic are added in the smoking process. After mixing, keep it aside. buttermilk / sattu buttermilk

material:

  • a cup of curd
  • water, 2.5 cups
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 1 tsp finely ground ginger
  • cumin powder
  • Black Salt
  • an ice cube in a bowl

Add sattu flour, roasted cumin powder and black salt. Ginger, mint and coriander leaves can be ground in a grinder with some water. Water can be added to the mixture to change the consistency of the buttermilk after adding the beaten curd. After working out, have a healthy drink and add ice.
