Lotus Eletre Electric SUV: Lotus Eletre Fully Electric SUV Debuts, Makes 600 HP – times of India

British car maker Lotus Cars has unveiled its first full-electric SUV, namely eletre in London. premium suv from Lotus Jenson Button, 2009 Formula 1 Champion.
Introduced as part of Lotus’ first EV range, the track-tuned sports car will be built in Wuhan, China. the eletre Electric SUV Its delivery in international markets will start from 2023.
With an aggressive front fascia, the Lotus Eletre will come in different trims and churn out a whopping 600 HP of power. Lotus claims that the sports car will offer a top speed of 260 kmph and a top speed of 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds. Apart from this, the company says that the Eletre SUV has a range of 600 km/charge and a 100kWh battery.

The Lotus Eletre design is largely inspired by the Lotus Emira sports car as it gets split headlamps, a sleek grille with active aerodynamics and a dual-tone exterior color scheme. The riding capabilities of the Lotus Eletre EV are further enhanced by rear-axle steering, air suspension with active ride height adjustment and anti-roll bars.

Inside the cabin, the Eletre comes equipped with a massive 15.1-inch HD infotainment system, a driver display, a HUD with augmented reality, premium leather upholstery and more. The cabin follows a minimalistic approach with high-end features that are appealing to the senses.
At the unveiling event, Lotus Cars Managing Director Matt Windle said, “It’s a British brand in China – being produced in China – so I think it matters to them. Furthermore, he added, “It’s going to cross boundaries.”
The fully electric SUV from Lotus will take on potential rivals such as the Hummer EV, Audi e-tron and Mercedes-Benz EQC when launched.
