Lucknow: East Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, Harinarayan RajbhariThreatened call from an unknown phone number for her comment on Mayavi Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) MLA from Mau, Abbas Ansarion Sunday.
Harinarayan had given a statement about Ansari that the Mau MLA has taken shelter at the house of the SBSP chief. OP Rajbhari, The complainant received the threat call when he was busy talking to the people visiting his residence in Viram Khand area of Gomtinagar.
It was alleged that around 4.50 pm a caller called on his phone and asked him why he made derogatory statements about Ansari and threatened to face consequences in future, the police said.
DCP, Eastern Zone, Prachi Singh, told TOI that based on the complaint of Harinarayan Rajbhar, an FIR has been registered under charges of criminal intimidation by anonymous communication. “We are tracing the caller,” she said.
