Lucknow rain: Nine people died due to heavy rain, schools closed

Also, in another rain-related incident, three people, including two minors, were killed and one was injured when the roof of a house collapsed due to rain in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao late in the night. The injured have been identified as mothers of three children aged 20 years, 4 years and 6 years, all of whom died in the incident. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorm accompanied with thunderstorms occurred at a few places over the eastern part of the state and at isolated places over the western region.
