GD Naidu Charities signed an agreement with Media One Global Entertainment Limited on Wednesday and released a concept poster on Thursday. According to the family, several production houses had approached them with the idea of a new biopic on the Indian inventor. “Many people had approached us. But we were convinced by Media One’s approach,” Mr Rajkumar said.
According to their website, the production house is associated with over 40 films, including Cheeni Kum (2007), Bloodstone (1988), Chennai Express (2013), Jeans (1998), Ramji Londonvale (2005) and Thambi (2006). . GD Naidu Charities has established GD Car Museum, GD Science Museum, Experimentala Science Center and STEM Lab in Coimbatore to inculcate interest in science among the youth. A memorial gallery was opened in 2020 to provide information on the life, thoughts and achievements of Shri Naidu (1893 to 1974).
