Madhya Pradesh government appoints Olympic hockey player Vivek Sagar as DSP

Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Home Rajesh Rajora said that the appointment letter was issued on Monday evening as per the promise of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and approved by the state cabinet.

Earlier this month, Chouhan presented a check of Rs one crore to Sagar and announced his appointment as the DSP and a home for his family in the state. Sagar is a resident of Shivnagar Chandan village of Itarsi tehsil of Hoshangabad district.
