I assure you that it will be stronger in the days to come. Samant said that even if you do not work daily for the party, then give at least two hours to the organization every week.

Maharashtra Industries Minister and Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant on Wednesday asked party workers to dedicate at least two hours every week to work for the new organization and strengthen it in Pune district. Samant had justified Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s rebellion in June against the leadership of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray.

The minister was in Pune city to attend an event organized by the youth wing of the party, Yuva Sena. Addressing the party workers, he said, “We have to strengthen the party in Pune district. I assure you that it will be stronger in the days to come. Even if you don’t work for the party every day, give at least two hours to the organization every week. He praised Shinde’s leadership.

“I didn’t get a chance to work with (Shiv Sena founder) Balasaheb Thackeray, but seeing Eknath Shinde, I feel Balasaheb’s presence. The decision taken by Shinde (referring to the rebellion) was correct. Now we have to strengthen the party.” Samant said that the late Shiv Sena MLA from Mumbai, Ramesh Latke, would have supported Shinde had he been alive.

Latte’s death in May forced by-elections to the Andheri (East) assembly constituency of suburban Mumbai. He said a rally would soon be organized in Katraj area of Pune to highlight the achievements of the Shinde-BJP government, which has completed its 100 days.
