“The infrastructure developed as part of the first phase of the Mahakaleshwar corridor will be dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 11,” he said.

Ashish Kumar Pathak, chief executive officer of the smart city project, said that in the first phase of Rs 316 crore, a mid-way zone, a park, a multi-storey parking lot for cars and buses, solar lighting, a facilitation center for pilgrims, A mega entrance is included. , Narsingh Ghat road, water pipeline, sewer line and other works.

Pathak said, “A light and sound system has also been developed with the installation of 108 pillars displaying Shiva Tandava shlokas as well as 52 murals depicting different stories. Many other sculptures have also been constructed. ,” said the reader.

Mahakaleshwar Temple is one of the 12 ‘Jyotirlingas’ of the country and there is a huge crowd of devotees throughout the year.
