Maharashtra BJP MLA’s son among 7 medical students killed in car accident

Police said the students were on their way from Deoli to Wardha when their vehicle collapsed.

Wardha (Maharashtra):

Seven medical students, including Avishkar Rahangdale, son of BJP MLA Vijay Rahangdale, were killed when a car fell off a bridge near Selsura in Maharashtra on Monday night.

According to the police, the students were on their way from Deoli to Wardha when their vehicle collapsed. According to Wardha Superintendent of Police Prashant Holkar, the accident happened at around 11.30 pm last night.

The victims have been identified as students of Wardha’s Sawangi Medical College. Neeraj Chauhan, Vivek Nandan, Pratyush Singh and Shubham Jaiswal were MBBS final year students, Aavyan Rahangdale and Pawan Shakti were MBBS first year students and Nitesh Singh were medical interns.
