Maharashtra district makes RT-PCR test mandatory for patients before surgery

Aurangabad: The District Disaster Management Authority has decided to make RT-PCR test mandatory for COVID-19 detection for patients before any surgery in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad, news agency PTI reported.

The Collector said that the medical facilities have been asked to note down the vaccination status of the patient on his case paper, which will be examined by the officers.

Aurangabad reported no new COVID-19 case on Monday. As of now, Aurangabad has only one active COVID-19 case.
