Nagpur: Four people were killed and an elderly woman was seriously injured when a speeding car collided with a bus stand in Nagpur-Amravati. Highway Here on Sunday, the police said. An official said that the incident took place at around 2.40 pm under Kondhali police station area.

Four people, identified as Chaitali Vinod Sonbarse (15), Bandu Nagorao Salwankar (55), Shaurya Subodh Dongre (8) and Sherrili Subodh Dongre (6) who were all residents of Satnavari village, were killed, while one Lalita Baburao Sonbarse (55) was fighting for life in the Government Medical College and Hospital here, he said.
Tripathi is a trainee doctor at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Medical College. Amravati The officer said that he was going towards Hingna in a Maruti S-Cross car along with two female trainee doctors.
An official of the Kondhali police station said that Tripathi has been arrested under the provisions of the IPC and the Motor Vehicles Act.
