Maharashtra Public Service Commission has invited applications for 290 vacancies in various cadres.
Maharashtra Public Service Commission notice notified the scheduled dates of State Service Preliminary Examination 2021 and last date for submission of applications for various posts. MPSC has released the State Service Exam 2021 (SSE2021) on its official website mpsc.gov.in.
As per the notification released by Maharashtra Public Service Commission, the exam will be conducted on January 2, 2022 in 37 districts of the state.
Applicants can apply for various posts by visiting the official website. The last date for submission of applications for State Service Examination 2021 is October 25.
As per the notification, Maharashtra Public Service Commission will fill the vacant posts of Deputy District Magistrate, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Assistant State Tax Commissioner, Block Development Officer, Assistant Director of Maharashtra Finance and Accounting Services, Industry Deputy. For Director Technical and various other posts.
As per the Maharashtra Public Service Commission notification, a general candidate has a maximum of six attempts to appear in the state commission examinations. Other Backward Caste (OBC) candidates can make nine attempts. The number of attempts is unlimited for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) but can apply only if they fulfill the age limit.
The recently released notice inviting applications to fill up 290 posts also states that the total examination will be of 1300 marks which will be divided into three sections including preliminary, main and interview.
As per the notification, the preliminary exam will be of 400 marks, main exam will be of 800 marks and interview will be of 100 marks. Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be notified for the main exam.
Maharashtra Public Service Commission has not yet released the main and interview dates.
